I have a question about out of stock products.

As Octer does not sell any products directly, you will have to contact the store that sells that particular product. You can find this out by clicking on the buy button. This will direct you to the retailer’s website where you can find customer service information.

Why did the price change when I clicked through to the retailer?

We don’t sell any products directly. We help you discover and compare products so you can make the best choice. We then link you to the retailer website to complete the purchase.

The product information we receive from the retailer’s changes frequently and there may be the occasional discrepancy, due to a delay in updating our system. The correct price is the price shown on the retailer’s website.

What are my shipping and delivery options?

We don’t sell any products directly. We help you discover and compare products so you can make the best choice. We then link you to the retailer website to complete the purchase.

The delivery information for a particular product is found at the retailer website. To get there simply click on the buy button. You’ll also find more information about the product including size availability and other images.

How do I know if an item is available in my size?

Simply click the buy button which will take you to the retailer’s website where you can check if the item is available / in-stock, in your size.

I saw a product I liked earlier on Octer, then went back again later and couldn’t find the same product, how can I find it?

Our database constantly changes; new products are added and out-of-stock products are removed.



The solution is to always save products you like – because even if a product in your Saved Items list goes out of stock, it will not disappear but will be labeled as out-of-stock. You can then click on it and see a list of comparable products. It may even be that the product has come back into stock under a different name or is being listed by another retailer. (Our biggest fans are created when this happens!)

How do I compare a product?

Our leading compare technology finds similar matches from millions of other products in our database of the top 200 stores. Simply scroll down the product page and click on ‘More Matches’ to see full comparison results.

How do I view more images of the products?

Sometimes the retailers give us multiple images and sometimes only one. If you want to take a closer look at a product and view more images, click on the buy button, which will take you to the retailer’s site.

How do I save an item and view my saved items?

To save an item on the Octer site, simply click on the heart icon next to the product. You will need to register with us first, so you have an account to save to.



You can register with one click with facebook and we never post to your timeline.

View your saved items by clicking the Saved Items icon in the top right hand corner of the page. Please note we do not save the actual stock of the product for you, just the information about it, so the item may still go out of stock.

How do I shop a particular store?

You can shop a particular store in two ways:

  1. Go the Stores category featured on the top menu header, which will take you to all the products from that store.
  2. Go to any category, and then use the filter options on the left hand side of the page. If you cannot find the store you want in the list, this means there are no products from that particular store.

How do I shop sale items only?

Go to a category and tick the Sale Items Only box on the left hand side of category page. You can combine this with the store selection filter to restrict results to only items that are on-sale from your favourite stores.

How do I login to Octer again if I originally signed up with Facebook?

Just click the Sign up with Facebook button again – it will detect you have already signed-up and log you in.
